Screen shots are an easy way to track the design of the home screen, get help solving a problem, or create a conversation log.
With the new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, the process is the same as it has been on Android devices for some years. To take a screenshot on the latest Google phones, press and hold the power button and turn down the volume at the same time. A second later, the screen will flash and an animated thumbnail image of you will float in the notification tray.
Be sure to press both buttons at the same time. Pressing one button before the other will show the volume slider.
Once the screenshot is captured, you can swipe down the notification tone and delete it or touch the share button to share it immediately. Easy peasy.
Google Pixel 2 Summary
The Pixel 2 is the younger brother of the Pixel 2 XL, which features a 5-inch OLED screen and the same aluminum construction with a textured coating in the Just Black version. There are stereo speakers in the front, which sound great and the fingerprint sensor is placed in the back. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of storage. The application performance is excellent and the phone does not heat up too often. The screen offers good viewing angles and does not suffer from the problem of blue dye that affects the Pixel 2 XL. The camera’s performance is also really good, although the images of low-light landscapes and the video exhibit some degree of noise. The battery life is also decent, although do not wait more than one day of use with the capacity of 2700 mAh.
