In a sound that sounded like a dream, a Tiger King TV series starring Nicolas Cage. The actress had to star in the sad Joe Exotic, and the fans were confused but interested.
Unfortunately, this may no longer be an opportunity. The Hollywood Reporter told the news that Amazon has scrapped the project and is no longer making progress with production. THR notes that “CBS Studios is likely to purchase the project at other outlets.”
The producers envisioned the show as a limited series of eight episodes and would drive Joe Exotic into the world. Scripts based on the 2020 Netflix documentaries would focus on Nic Cagen Joe as “he struggles to keep his zoo in danger of losing his mind.”
Netflix Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness was a great success in 2020, which came to light when the pandemic began. It followed Joe Exotic as he quarreled with his zoo with Carole Baskin and Jeff Lowe. According to Nielsen ratings, the series was watched by 34.3 million people during its first ten days of release.
The reason this project has lost Amazon’s interest is obvious. THR notes that interest “had waned and Tiger King was no longer relevant. “There is no shock to this statement, as the docusers had a moment, but they have lost their vapors since the dynamic start. Tiger King in the series, one is still at work. Peacock is currently in a story starring Kate McKinnon starring Baskin and John Cameron Mitchell as Joe Exotic.
