Apple’s M1 iPad Pro begins to deliver to customers; deliveries will begin on May 21st

Apple announced M1 iPad Pro three weeks ago, but never set a release date. Instead, a giant in Silicon Valley said orders will begin arriving “in the second half of May.”

Now, customers are reporting that their pre-ordered M1 iPad Pro units have begun to transition to shipped mode and confirm a rumored release date in the process.

M1 iPad Pro orders will begin arriving on Friday, May 21st

Screenshots posted by Twitter users Melissa Martinez and Chris Grant Jr. (through 9to5Mac) show that deliveries of the M1 iPad Pro will arrive between May 21 – the release date found hidden on Apple’s website last month – and May 28. The iPad Pro (2021) offers an updated front camera that supports Apple’s new Center Stage feature which follows users in video calls. A Thunderbolt port is also included, and a 5G connection is an optional extra.

The 11-inch model has a ProMotion Liquid Retina display. However, the 12.9-inch model has an updated Liquid Retina XDR panel with increased brightness and contrast, which is made possible by mini-LED technology.

All of this is combined with the Apple M1 chipset, which makes some of these the best tablets In the market. Recent benchmarks show that it will improve 56% performance on last year’s A12Z Bionic-powered iPad Pro (2020) and beat the high-end Intel Core i9-powered MacBook Pro.

Some M1 iPad Pro subscriptions have been moved back to July, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t order it. If you’re interested in Apple’s latest tablet, check it out the best iPad Pro (2021) deals.
