Competition in the smartphone segment under Rs 20,000 has warmed up since the last quarter – and warmed up so much that we had a hard time finalizing the list of the top five phones for buying below Rs 20,000. That is why we have included the sixth newcomer this time. As always, you can expect respectable processing power, good cameras, sharp screens, high refresh rate screens, and more. And of course we have a couple of options with 108 MP cameras as well. Time to meet these half a dozen phones that offer the segment the best possible amount in July.
Best Phones Under Rs 20,000 in India (July 2021)
Redmi Note 10 Pro / Pro Max
The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max are arguably the best versatile phones on a budget. They are almost identical, except for one significant difference. The Pro has a 64 megapixel primary camera, while Max knocks it up to 108 megapixels. The other features are pretty much the same. Their primary cameras come with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera’s performance is pretty impressive (by segment standards) on both phones, and the Note 10 Pro Max goes a little better. The Redmi Note 10 Pro series is supported by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G SoC, and comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be further expanded with a microSD card. Both phones have 5020 mAh batteries that last more than a day and a half in moderate use, and a 33 W quick charger is included in the package. The phones have Android 11 and MIUI 12.

Poco X3 Pro
The Poco X3 Pro is the phone with the most powerful processor on this list. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SoC, which is an almost revamped Snapdragon 855+ that was Qualcomm’s flagship not too long ago. The company will be given 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. So you have enough processing power for all the tasks you can perform with this phone, including gaming. The phone has a 6.67-inch Full HD + LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz to ensure smooth browsing in compatible applications. The screen is protected from scratches with Gorilla Glass 6 layer.
The back of the Poco X3 Pro has four cameras with a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide screen, a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The small aperture at the top of the screen has a 20 megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The quality of the camera is quite good for the segment. Its 5,160 mAh battery easily lasts more than a day and a half in moderate use. The company bundles a 33 W quick charger with this phone for quick storage. The phone has Android 11 and MIUI 12 on.

iQOO Z3 5G
The Vivo sub-brand broke the Rs 20,000 hurdle by launching its iQOO Z3 5G model. It has an impressive array of specifications and features for its asking price. At its core is Qualcomm’s new mid-range Snapdragon 768 SoC, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Z3 features a 6.58-inch Full HD + LCD with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and HDR10-compatible. You get a 16 megapixel self-contained camera located at the top of the screen.
The photography of this 5G compatible phone is handled by three rear cameras, the first of which is a 64 megapixel primary camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide screen and a 2 megapixel macro camera. The IQOO Z3 5G has Android 11 and a FunTouch 11 interface on. The battery has a capacity of 4400 mAh and keeps the phone running for well over a day in reasonable use. The company bundles a 55 W quick charger with the phone.

Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G
Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G (review) retains its place on this list and remains one of the most affordable 5G phones in India. Powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 800U SoC, you now get an 8GB RAM variant and 128GB of internal storage for this budget. Like most phones in the Narzo series, the design of the 30 Pro 5G is quite sleek. The battery capacity has dropped to 5,000 mAh, but the company isn’t bundling a 65W SuperDart charger like it did with its predecessor, the Narzo 20 Pro. Here you will find a respectable 30 W Dart charger that will fully charge your phone in over an hour.
There are three cameras on the back, consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-speed camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. You also get a 16-megapixel self-camera located in a small hole at the top of the screen. The Realme Narzo 30 Pro has a 6.5-inch Full HD + screen that is claimed to be up to 600 staples bright. Samsung Galaxy F62
The Samsung Galaxy F62 is a fairly large device courtesy of its large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, and weighs more than 200 grams, mainly thanks to its 7,000 mAh mammoth battery that can keep the phone running for almost two and a half days of moderate use. . The included 25 W quick charger promises to fully charge a high capacity battery in a matter of hours. If you like large phones with a long battery life, this is a great option along with the next phone on this list.
The F62 runs on Samsung’s Exynos 9825 chip, which is a powerful option on this budget. You can choose from either 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal (expandable) storage. The Motorola G60 is another great option on this list for those who like large screen phones. And that’s not all – there is also a 108 megapixel camera on the back of this phone.
