As the world’s largest democracy continues to seek life amid growing numbers of COVID-19 cases and limited access to resources and infrastructure, the country’s citizens are going through each other. Web service called Doosra you can create a secondary cell phone number. Instead of entering your personal number everywhere, you can share this secondary number for text messages or voice calls. It also allows callers to leave you a voicemail message.

How Doosra job?

Doosra block all calls by default. All text messages sent to this secondary number are stored in the application. However, users always have the option to add a “trusted number” so you can add a contact to the whitelist and their calls will come through. Another way to slightly add to the whitelist is to turn off the call block for 60 minutes. During that hour, all calls to that secondary number will go through and will not be blocked by default.

Doosra the app uses your phone number and location to route calls.

In a situation where you need to call someone but don’t want to use their primary number, Doosra provides a 100-minute (monthly) limit on which it directs calls through the inter-cloud phone system. Others can also call you at this secondary number.

Doosra subscription packages

Doosra offers two subscription packages. There is an Essential package that costs Rs 59 per month (Rs 699 per year) that offers unlimited voicemails, premium and VIP number settings, a 100 minute call request per month and the ability to add 10 contacts to the Trusted list. .

The other is the Pro package, which costs Rs 83 per month (Rs 999 per year). In addition to the entire Essential package, this also allows multi-user login (up to five devices), allows users to turn off the call block indefinitely (instead of the 60-minute limit of the Essential package), supports WhatsApp and telegraph, and has no restrictions on trusted contacts.

How to start Doosra

Head Doosra.comand select order plan which you want. Enter your phone number (used for authentication); then you get an OTP, enter it. The secondary number is created automatically. You can either continue with this number or choose to choose from custom or VIP numbers for which you will have to pay an additional fee ranging from Rs 200-5000.

Once you have decided on a secondary number, enter your name, email address and create a password. You will then be taken to the payment gateway to pay your subscription fee and you are ready. You can then download Doosra app on your phone (available on both Android and iOS) and start sharing a new one doosra amount.
