Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has included its latest one-off creation. Rolls Royce Phantom Oribe is a bespoke custom tailoring division designed in collaboration with Parisian luxury brand Hermes. Phantom Oriben was commissioned by Japanese entrepreneur, art collector and supercar enthusiast Yusaku Maezawa, who wanted his Phantom to be built around a private flight. Phantom Oribelle Rolls-Royce has created a unique Oribe Green shade for a two-tone green and cream-white color scheme.

The shade of green has been recreated from a 16th-century Japanese ceramic product, Oribe, of which Maezawa is a collector. Rolls-Royce even offers this shade for a private jet that the owner wants to combine with this Phantom.

This Oribe-ware theme is reproduced from the inside using Hermes. Contact points such as the steering wheel, door handles, gear selector and rotary air conditioner are all finished in Hermes Enea Green leather. This material is also used throughout the car – in the upper dashboard, door pillars and luggage rack. With attention to detail in this design, this leather also covers the glove compartment and boot, center console and even a refrigerated champagne cabinet. Hermes uses his expertise to create these elements using the techniques originally used by the saddle championship.
Leather replenishment is some high quality woodwork. The wooden speaker enclosures are seamlessly integrated into the open pores of the doors. The material is also used in the center console, rear armrests and folding tables. Finishes for upholstery and upholstery include Hermes tubes for cushions and recliners, white Accents and similar sheepskin floor mats.
The piece-by-piece resistance in the cabin is a work of art designed by Hermes, Phantom’s Gallery, a case that displays pieces ordered by the owner in front of the front passenger seat. Here, a design by French artist and illustrator Pierre Peron has been used in conjunction with Hermes horse motifs and created in an open porous walnut panel.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Oribe is the brand’s latest tradition of completely handcrafted and fully customized works for owners who just don’t want to appear in another Phantom.
