Realme Buds Q2 recently made its global debut in Pakistan as a new pair for the company affordable real wireless in-ear headphones. We now know what its Indian pricing could be.
TechRadar India has got pictures Realme Buds Q2, revealing a price of Rs 2499. BIS has already certified its model number RMA2010 for launch in India. It also appears that units are currently being imported from China. In context, the same product is priced at 3,999 PKR, which is around Rs 2,000 in India.
First generation Realme Buds Q came to India in June 2020, which means they will need to be updated in the near future. The buds Q2 are placed at Realme Buds Air 2 Neo – which is the company’s cheapest TWS with active noise reduction.
Realme Buds Q2 is available in black and purple and has an ear-shaped design without a handle. The earbuds are detachable and replaceable. The touch-sensitive area on the outside has a new “Kaleidoscope laminating” surface that stands out from the otherwise underestimated design.
Instead of ANC, they provide ambient noise reduction for calls through a built-in microphone system. They work via Bluetooth 5.0 and support playback of AAC and SBC codecs. Entering game mode can delay 88 ms – a significant jump from its predecessor 119 ms.
The 10mm drivers hold the show by supporting BassBoost +, Dynamic and Bright sound profiles, which also intersect the Realme Buds Q2. Each loop weighs only about 4.1g, while the entire package (including the case) weighs about 29g. They are IPX4 rated for water resistance. The big topic of conversation is 5 hours of battery life on a single charge, and the case offers three additional charges for a total of 20 hours. Fast charging via the micro-USB port is also supported. A 10-minute charge should repeat in about 2 hours, while a full charge is claimed to take only about 40 minutes.
Prior to the start of this year, Realme confirmed its launch more than 100 AIoT devices in India in 2021. Once the new lock is in place, the company will have delayed its future launches in a few weeks. Needless to say, its timeline is currently having an impact. However, the launch of Buds Q2 shouldn’t be too far off now. Maybe we’ll hear more about it Realme X7 Max event.
