What is F1 TV?
F1 TV is the official OTT streaming service in Formula 1 and offers users two subscription plans. With standard plan, F1 TV Access, you can view replay games, highlights, F1 historical race archives and more throughout the race. premium plan, F1 TV Pro, includes F1 TV Access features, and you have direct access to all GP track sessions.
Both plans give you access to an F1 camera, so you can switch between real-time input and any 20-car camera. Camera switching is also active in replay races. You can also watch exclusive documentaries and live shows produced for F1 TV.
F1 TV is available in more than 100 countries, including the United States, France, South Africa and Brazil. But in countries like the UK and Germany, the F1 TV Pro plan is not available due to existing commercial agreements.
In the U.S., the price of an F1 TV Access subscription is $ 26.99 per year at the time of writing. The F1 TV Pro subscription costs $ 79.99, but comes with it seven day free trial.
Is F1 TV on Apple TV?
Unfortunately, F1 TV on Apple TV is not currently available.
According to Formula 1, the F1 TV for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV devices is still under development and will be introduced later in 2021.
What other devices can I watch F1 TV on?
From now on, F1 TV will be available on browsers, mobile phones and tablets.
You can view it on your computer with web browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, but F1 TV does not support Samsung’s Internet, UC browser, and Opera (although some features may work correctly in these browsers). You also can’t use mobile or tablet browsers to stream F1TV.
You can watch F1 TV Chromecast and Apple Airplay, but you can only stream using your laptop’s browser, not your phone or tablet’s F1 TV app. Support for streaming from mobile and tablet apps will be launched later in 2021.
