From An American horror story To the universe of DC Comics, Finn Wittrock is moving into another wild world when The Hollywood Reporter notes that Blasted and An American horror story the actor will play an important role in the future Green Lantern series HBO Max. Wittrock will play Guy Gardner, one of the many lanterns in the upcoming series.
For many readers, Gardner is known for his bold personality, almost like a parody of macho-militant American men. According to his official description, HBO Max’s version of the character isn’t too far away. THR describes the character as “the masses as masculinity and, as the comics show, the embodiment of hyperpatriotism of the 1980s. And yet, Guy is somehow pleasant.”
Official summary Green Lantern series reads as follows: “Green Lantern reinvented the classic DC feature through a decades-long and galaxy-like story that began on Earth in 1941 with the first green lantern, secretly with gay FBI agent Alan Scott and 1984, along with cocky alpha male Guy Gardner and half-alien Bree Jarta. Among them are a host of other lanterns – from comic book favorites to unprecedented heroes. “
There is no broadcast news for Bree Jarta or Alan Scott at the time of writing, but reports say Scott’s Actors are just around the corner.
Greg Berland, Seth Grahame-Smith and Marc Guggenheim are all the authors of the series. Belgium acts as a producer, while Grahame-Smith acts Green lanterns actor.
