Osana Fortnite Season 6, Week 9, players must activate the rupture by purchasing it from the character in order for the challenge to be completed. It’s by no means a difficult task, but there are a few things you need to know about this challenge before you try it.
First, you need to know which NPCs sell rift portals and how to make sure you have enough funds to buy them. In addition, it helps to know how the tears work. This guide covers everything else and more. This activates the rupture by purchasing it from the brand Fortnite.
How to activate a rupture
The biggest hurdle to this challenge is actually buying the ability to exploit the cracks. As you can see from the map above (thanks, Fortnite.gg), there are a lot of NPCs that give you access to the differences. Any of these NPCs will work, so choose the appropriate one and stop chatting. We recommend a visit to an NPC that is out of the way so the enemy player can run less. Also, working with the team on this matter can be a huge help as they can look at your back as you travel to the NPC.
Another factor you need to consider when attempting this challenge is the cost of the crack. It will set you back 245 gold bars, so you have to have so much on hand before completing the challenge. There are many ways to get your hands on gold bars, such as completing bonuses, eliminating players, and completing certain tasks. If you have a few bars, we recommend discussing the map with different NPCs. They tend to provide missions – many of which can be easily completed and earn a handful of gold bars in the process.
To meet this challenge, all you need to do is buy access to one crack. At this point, if you’ve been playing all season, you should be close to the required amount, assuming you don’t use your bars often. Talk to one of the NPCs mentioned above and select the “Activate Rift” option.
When you do so, you will be shot immediately from the crack of the sky, allowing you to easily navigate the map. You won’t spawn as high as at the start of the match, but you will have enough flight time to get to nearby areas quickly. You also earn 24,000 XP for your problems, so it’s worth your time to accomplish this.
