Google is leaking unannounced Nest security cameras from its own online store

Google has apparently leaked some unannounced Nest security cameras right in their own online store (thanks for the tip, Eric!). Google confirmed in January that it will release a new series of security cameras this year, and it looks like the company’s store may have just revealed what’s coming.

As far as we can tell, the new devices include a combined outdoor / indoor battery-powered Nest Cam, a floodlit Nest Cam, an internal wired Nest Cam and a battery-powered Nest doorbell. When we tried to click the “Read More” and “Buy” links for those devices, the site sent us back to the main Google Store page, so it looks like they may be live earlier than they’re supposed to be.

The only links that worked properly on this page were Nest Cam Indoor and Nest Cam Outdoor. Everyone else sent us back to the Google Store homepage.

The links that worked in this section were wired Nest doorbell and “Front door control package“But the package package led to another package with a battery-powered wired Nest doorbell.

Google did not respond to a request for comment.

This isn’t the first time Google has leaked a smart home product – it accidentally revealed Nest Hub Max one week before its publication. But the fact that these new safety camera lists have already appeared in the online store may indicate that an announcement is coming.

If you can share information about these Nest products, send us a tip!
