The Pixel 5A 5G has been officially released by Google. The first glance at the smartphone was released in April this year, which contradicts rumors of its cancellation. “The Pixel 5a 5G will not be canceled. It will be available later this year in the U.S. and Japan, and will be unveiled at last year’s A-Series phone launch,” the company said in an official release at the time. The company has now finally launched the phone.

The Google Pixel 5A 5G has a larger battery and has many updated features compared to its predecessor, the 4A 5G. The smartphone is now pre-orderable in the US and Japan. The price of the phone in the United States is $ 449 (about 33,000 rubles). Delivery will begin on August 26th.

The Pixel 5a has many exciting features, such as a single-frame aluminum design in a new, mostly black color and green. Its overall design looks similar to the Pixel 4a and 5G. Its housing is IP67 dust and water resistant.

The Pixel 5a comes with 6.34-inch, 2400 x 1080 resolution OLED display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It features the Snapdragon 765G chipset with 6GB of LPDDR4X memory and 128GB of storage, meaning its internal upgrades are limited. The rear cameras are the same 12.2-megapixel f1.7 main cameras and 16-megapixel ultra-wide f2.2 cameras, and the front has an 8-megapixel f2.0 camera. However, the spectrum + flicker sensor has been removed.

One of the biggest differences between the 5G Pixel 4a and the Pixel 5a is the battery. The previous one had a 3885 mAh battery, but the Pixel 5a comes with a 4680 mAh battery and an 18 W quick charger.
