HBO Max is offering free episodes to potential new subscribers within the app and free of charge so they can take their most popular series on a trial run before they commit to another streaming service.
Company announced that as of today, new viewers considering a subscription will be able to watch a selection of 13 pilots from HBO and HBO Max without registering for the service. Normally, subscribers pay $ 10 per month for the HBO Max ad-supported level, or $ 15 per month without ads, and receive special benefits such as 4K streaming and daily information from Warner Bros. movies. (HBO Max does does not offer at this time free trial.) The complete list of sets for which pilots can be streamed for free is as follows:
- The throne game
- Harley Quinn
- Lovecraft Maa
- Love life
- Perry Mason
- Breeded by wolves
- Doom Patrol (Season 2, Section 1)
Free bonuses for potential users will come into service today, and the company said new episodes will be switched in and out “from time to time.” The feature is available to all HBO Max device partners, including Xbox, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Android, iOS, iPad, Apple TV, Chromecast, PlayStation, Roku, Samsung and today, LG smart TVs.
Introducing Tiger Episodes to potential viewers expands HBO Max’s initiative to bully its content to viewers who may not have subscribed to the service yet. Last month, the company launched group view tool so that Snapchat users can stream pilots directly through the app for free. Netflix, which also no longer offers free trial, is accordingly bullied its contents to potential viewers in the past by sharing it on YouTube.
