HBO Max’s green lantern will take on Superman & Lois director Lee Toland Krieger



After getting to control the CW pilot period Superman and LoisDirector Lee Toland Krieger returns to the DC Universe to direct the first two episodes of HBO Max Green Lantern series.

Krieger’s past credits include movies Celeste and Jesse Forever and Adalin’s time, while in recent years he has focused on controlling the small screen Riverdale, You, Sabrina’s cold adventures, Lethal class, Prodigal and Shadow and bone.

Seth Grahame-Smith is acting Green Lantern, which has chosen Finn Wittrock (An American horror story) as Guy Gardner and Jeremy Irvine (Tread) as Alan Scott. The official summary reads:

Green Lantern reinvented the classic DC feature through a decades-long and galaxy-like story that began on Earth in 1941 with the first green lantern, secretly with gay FBI agent Alan Scott and 1984, along with cocky alpha male Guy Gardner and half-alien Bree Jarta. Among them are a host of other lanterns – from comic book favorites to unprecedented heroes. “
