To support a superior distance learning experience, Lenovo has launched a smart learning solution called Lenovo Aware for Consumers. It is available pre-assembled with the latest generation IdeaPad Slim 3i and IdeaPad Slim 5i laptops.
Lenovo recently conducted a study on virtual education that highlighted the various challenges that parents face from children’s learning experiences in a remote coronavirus pandemic. The challenges were related to doubts about the effectiveness of e-learning, especially the constant monitoring required of children and the excessive use of laptops, which caused excessive display time and body position concerns.
To meet the learning challenges of the digital education model, Lenovo Aware strives to support a superior distance learning experience to help students stay focused and motivated in online classes. This helps students improve their digital well-being while parents are happy with their children’s learning patterns.
Speaking about Lenovo India software, Dinesh Nair, director of consumer business, said: “After the pandemic, the need for distance learning infrastructure grew significantly. . “
Lenovo Aware detects a person’s eye contact with the device and body language of the computer’s built-in camera. The software reminds users to correct their posture while sitting in front of the screen and take a break from the screen to rest their eyes through audible alerts and pop-ups.
Users can activate the software in Lenovo Vantage. Selecting Lenovo Aware settings allows users to manually activate all features.
Other features of the software include remote reminder, which detects the distance between the user’s face and the computer screen to prevent too much proximity to the screen that can affect vision.
