Sony Masters of the universe the live-action movie has once again faced another setback Collision says Noah Centineo (To all the boys I’ve loved before), starring He-Man, has left the often-delayed film.
Masters of the universe has been in development for a decade, and many writers and directors are apparently committed to leaving the project. Centineo was elected He-Man two years ago, and although Sony had removed the film from its release schedule last year when the studio apparently worked under a contract with Netflix to publish the film on a streaming service, Centineo looked confident. Masters of the universe finally in production last summer. Probably the ongoing health crisis and Sony’s negotiations with Netflix pushed production once again.
Masters of the universe directed by Aaron and Adam Nee (Robbers band) on a screenplay by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Ironman). No reason has been given for Centineo’s departure from He-Man, although it could be a combination of the film’s long production delays and his own busy schedule. Centineo is currently filming a DC film Black Adam, where he performs opposite Dwayne Johnson as a member of the Justice Society of America, Atom Smasher. Centineo has also been highlighted in a Netflix film about the GameStop stock deal controversy that took place earlier this year, as well as in the CIA spy series on streaming service from Bourne identity directed by Doug Liman.
Although Masters of the universe the film is back on track, fans still have a lot to look forward to as Netflix has several franchise projects, including an animation series She-Ra and the princesses of power as well as Kevin Smith’s sequel to the original 1980s comic Masters of the Universe: Revelations and a CGI-animated reboot with a header He-man and the masters of the universe.
