Products claimed to be Nvidia’s rumored upcoming graphics card, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, have appeared frequently, suggesting that an official announcement could be on the horizon.
The MSI Suprim X version of the expected GPU has already been described a few times, and new data now suggests that some unreleased devices may have accidentally arrived on the shelves a few weeks earlier than planned.
Reddit user FaisalKhatib claims that they have received pictures from a local retailer in Abu Dhabi who has already given the card for purchase at an estimated $ 3,500 / £ 2,500 / $ 4,500. While it is important to note that we cannot substantiate these claims, this would not be the first time that Middle East dealers have jumped on gun sales.

The Suprim X series is the flagship model of MSI cards, so we expect the MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Ventus 3X to pack serious power when hardware is more officially available.
We previously expected the MSRP to be around $ 999 (about £ 780 / $ 1,400), even if pricing leaks suggest that this may vary wildly between third-party models and regions.
The Suprim X is also not the only GPU version taken in the photos, and the Twitter user also reports the Gigabyte model Moore’s Law is dead. If it is always possible for product boxes to be counterfeit – and convincing, if so – consistent looks will add weight to the card’s existence.
I’m spying with Ti …
Just to confirm the end – the RTX 3080 Ti 12GB is definitely real and coming soon ™ ️ I will obviously darken the background to protect someone, but it is the real 3080 Ti that I know is on hand … pic.twitter .com / sn18aNbboaMay 4, 2021
It is rumored to come with a 12GB GDDR6X 384-bit memory, a decent increase over RTX 308010GB of 320-bit GDDR6X memory, with a total of 10,240 CUDA cores and 80 SM units, clock speeds of 1,365 MHz and 1665 MHz.
We look forward to Nvidia updated spread rate limiter included in the models on offer to get more graphics processors in the hands of players instead of being grabbed by critical players, but we still expect these cards to be incredibly scarce.
The official announcement event is likely to take place immediately on May 31st, and a hard launch is currently expected on June 2nd. We also expect Nvidia to announce RTX 3070 Ti in the same event with an estimated release date of 9 June.
