OnePlus 7T Vs. Apple iPhone 11 | Spec comparison

[ad_1]

If you don’t need a high-end smartphone that costs over $ 1,000, a selection of slightly more affordable options with the features most people need is available at a more affordable price. Current examples are last year OnePlus 7T and iPhone 11. But even mid-range devices are packing an economic hole, and neither of these can be classified as budget phones – not at base prices starting at $ 599 and $ 699, respectively. Let’s see how they shake as a feature challenge.

Performance, battery life and charging

The OnePlus 7T features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor supported by ample 8GB of RAM. This is the same chip for gaming phones as Asus ROG 2. The upgraded processor features a fourth-generation AI engine capable of handling more than 7 trillion operations per second. Performance is fast and smooth in both routine tasks and tough mobile gaming. But it can’t match the benchmarks of the iPhone 11 – not even close. Apple’s iPhone 11 features the A13 Bionic, a hex-core, 64-bit processor with a custom quad-core GPU and an eight-core Neural Engine capable of performing about 10 trillion tasks per second. Apple’s A13 Bionic offers serious handling muscles and 4GB of RAM is enough because iOS handles memory management differently than Android. Apps are quick to launch and browse on Twitter, Instagram, and games on Apple Arcade are silky smooth.

The OnePlus 7T comes with a 3800 mAh battery that takes you through the day. It supports Warp Charge 30T charging technology, which can produce 70% charge in 30 minutes. The iPhone 11 has a 3110 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging – unlike 7T – wireless charging. Apple says the iPhone 11 battery offers up to 17 hours of video playback and up to 65 hours of audio playback, while its 18W quick charger (sold separately) delivers 50% charge in 30 minutes.

Nodistus goes into the iPhone to incorporate wireless charging and excellent performance.

Design and durability

Apple iPhone 11: A visual overview

The OnePlus 7T weighs 190 grams and is 8 mm thick. It is made of glass and has a metallic-looking back panel that offers a choice of two color surfaces: matte silver or icy blue. It needs a case because the body is slippery. The disgusting top is almost a third smaller than the previous OnePlus 7. The 7T still has the familiar side slider, but like the iPhone, it has extended the headphone jack. The flat screen has a distinctive 20: 9 aspect ratio of 6.55 inches, making it longer but more comfortable to hold on to because it’s not as wide as some larger phones.

The design of the iPhone may seem a little outdated to some people, as its thick frame surrounds the 6.1-inch screen and a wide notch at the top. The most popular design these days is the sloping end glass. Nevertheless, the iPhone 11 feels solid, available in six colors, and the glossy glass back cover isn’t slippery. It is made of aluminum unlike stainless steel case is a good idea. It also has an IP68 water resistance class of up to 2 meters underwater for up to 30 minutes, unlike the 7T, which has no stated water or dust resistance.

Display

No competition: The OnePlus 7T has a better screen than the iPhone 11. It has a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a small teardrop notch. It offers Full HD + resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, aspect ratio of 20: 9 and 402 pixels per inch (ppi). The reading mode of the 7T display drops the saturation, which makes it easier to read the phone. One of the biggest highlights of the OnePlus 7T is its 90 Hz refresh rate, which makes a huge difference when watching games or videos, but also makes basic navigation and scrolling smoother.

The iPhone 11 features a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display that supports HDR and True Tone technology to optimize screen brightness and saturation based on ambient light. The resolution of the iPhone 11 is relatively small: 1792 x 828 pixels and a pixel density of 326ppi.

Camera

The OnePlus 7T has three camera lenses arranged in a round camera body: a 48-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a separate macrotila. The 7T adjusts the autofocus so that subjects can be in focus between 2.5 cm and 8 cm, so you can really close the subject. With dual optical zoom, the 7T captures 4K video at 60 frames per second and slow-motion 720p video at up to 960 frames per second. New and improved features of this model include Nightscape night mode for a wide-angle camera and better performance of the 7T UltraShot engine. For the Selfie, the OnePlus 7T gets a 16-megapixel lens with fixed focus, electronic stability and an f / 2.0 aperture. Our inspector found OxygenOS the camera app is a bit confusing because the settings button is hidden in the pop-up menu instead of at the top of the screen.

At first glance, the iPhone 11 camera settings seem less equipped. Its dual camera configuration includes a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with optical image stabilization and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view and f / 2.4 aperture. There is no telephoto lens, but you can shoot blurred background portraits and six vertical light effects such as Natural, Studio, Contour, Stage, Stage Mono, and High-Key Mono. It also supports night mode, Smart HDR, True Tone flash and Panorama mode and can record 4K videos at up to 60 frames per second. It has 2x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom. The 12MP selfie camera has an f / 2.2 aperture and allows Slofies (i.e. slow motion selfies). The front camera supports portrait mode, 4K video recording, Animoji file and Memoji file. The QuickTake feature allows you to shoot videos seamlessly without switching from Photo mode.

A feature of the iPhone camera, called semantic rendering, captures multiple underexposed photos before tapping the shutter button and then the overexposed image, after which the camera algorithm grumbles the photo to get the best picture. Smart HDR handles different aspects of a photo, such as faces, using separate frames to highlight and enhance different parts of the image. That’s why the iPhone 11 offers better image processing overall than the OnePlus 7T, despite having only two cameras, and even incorporating the 7T’s admirable macro mode.

Software and updates

Andy Boxall / Digitaltrends

The OnePlus 7T uses Google’s latest Android 11 operating system alongside OxygenOS 11 skin. The OxygenOS 11 experience is similar to the Android stock and offers Dark Mode, Digital Wellbeing, Zen Mode and Reading Mode. The iPhone 11 works iOS 14, which introduced new features such as home screen widgets, a useful application library, and application clips.

The 7T packs 128GB or 256GB of storage, while the Apple smartphone offers the same storage options as well as a third smaller 64GB option, which many observers find inadequate for today’s smartphone technology. Neither phone supports external storage.

OnePlus is one of the fastest Android device manufacturers in terms of software updates, but it’s not as fast as Apple, which tends to support devices for longer as well.

Additional features

iPhone 11
Julian Chokkattu / Digital Trends

Both the iPhone and the OnePlus 7T focus more or less on the core experience of a smartphone, so there aren’t many additional features on either phone. The main feature that distinguishes the 7T is the refresh rate of the 90 Hz display, which looks good. For Apple, the new U1 chip designed by Apple includes Ultra Wideband technology that can be used for location awareness and allows the iPhone 11 to accurately locate other U1-compatible Apple devices. According to Apple, “It’s like adding new meaning to the iPhone, and it’s leading to amazing new features.” Despite being introduced more than a year ago, its use is still quite low.

Price and availability

Andy Boxall / Digitaltrends

The OnePlus 7T costs $ 599, and customers can purchase it through T-Mobile or the unlocked version directly from OnePlus. It works on all major networks. The iPhone 11 is priced at $ 699 for the base model with 64GB of storage. The 128GB model costs $ 749, while the 256GB version costs $ 849. It is available in all Apple stores and on the company’s website, as well as from all major operators.

Overall winner: Apple iPhone 11

The 7T fills Apple’s relatively inexpensive iPhone 11 against each other and is cheaper. The OnePlus 7T is neat and perfect with just the right amount of right features. It features a stunning AMOLED display, 90 Hz refresh rate, triple camera setup, advanced Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, Android 10, fast charging and a cheaper price tag. The iPhone 11 offers excellent battery life, a state-of-the-art camera, and all the improvements that come with iOS 14. Both are excellent phones with high-end features, but in head-to-head competitions, the iPhone has consistently favored the 7T by offering excellent design, performance, durability, camera features and wireless charging, so the winner is the iPhone 11.
