The alleged renderings of the OnePlus Nord 2 have come to the fore on a rumored smartphone with a triple rear camera setting and a punch screen. The designs were shared on Monday by tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer aka @OnLeaks, who also unveiled some of the key features of the smartphone earlier this year. The news comes soon after smartphone SoC data leaked from the list on the AI Benchmark site. The phone is reported to debut sometime in July with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and AMOLED display at a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
As rendered divided by Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) on Twitter, in association With 91Mobiles OnePlus Nord 2 the screen has a perforated opening for the selfie clicker in the upper left corner. OnePlus the smartphone appears with narrow frames on three sides and a thin chin. The volume control is on the left, and the power button and alarm slider are on the right.
The OnePlus Nord 2 has a triple camera setting and an LED flash in a rectangular module at the back in the upper left corner as rendered. Other notable things in shared images include the USB Type-C port, the SIM compartment, and the speaker grille at the bottom. The handset is said to be 160×73.8×8.1 mm. The 91Mobile report says that in addition to the green color in the renders, OnePlus is likely to launch more color options.
OnePlus Nord 2 configurations (expected)
OnePlus Nord 2 is reported uses OxygenOS based on Android 11 and can have a 6.43-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Under the cover, the smartphone can have an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. In addition to the same SoC, a recent AI benchmark list also suggested that the rumored smartphone will have 8GB of RAM.
In the camera compartment, the OnePlus Nord 2 can pack a triple rear camera assembly with a 50-megapixel main sensor. It can be supplemented with an 8 megapixel sensor and a 2 megapixel sensor. The smartphone has a 32 megapixel front camera sensor, a 4500 mAh battery and a screen fingerprint sensor.
