The launch of the Oppo Reno 6 series may not be too far away, as the phones were recently discovered with 3C and MIIT certifications. The collection is expected to include three models – Oppo Reno 6, Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Oppo Reno 6 Pro +. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Oppo Reno 6 Pro + configurations have now leaked to TENAA according to the tipster. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, while the Oppo Reno 6 Pro + is expected to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC.
Noticed Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station divided TENAA lists Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Oppo Reno 6 Pro + Weibossa. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro is considered to be listed under model number PEPM00 and the Oppo Reno 6 Pro + under model number PENM00. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro is listed as having a 6.55-inch screen and will run on Android 11. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and has dimensions of 160×73.1×7.6mm. The phone is on the TENAA list so it can pack a 2200 mAh dual cell battery.
The Oppo Reno 6 Pro + is listed to run on Android 11 and has a similar 6.55-inch screen. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and has a 2200 mAh dual cell battery. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro + is expected to measure 160.8×72.5×7.99 mm.
The 2200 mAh dual cell battery means that phones can pack a total capacity of 4500 mAh battery. Tipster also points out that both phones can have a Full HD + (1080×2,400 pixels) OLED display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. Both phones also have a indicated punching screen with an opening located in the upper left corner. The screen is reported to be curved at the edges. Both the Oppo Reno 6 Pro and the Oppo Reno 6 Pro + are expected to pack 65 W of quick charge support.
Oppo has not yet released official announcements about the launch of the Oppo Reno 6 series.
