Ola Electric has harnessed the color options offered on its first scooter, rumored to be called the Ola Series S. Having previously presented its virgin offering in matte black, Ola has now unveiled the full color palette of the series S-Scooter, which is easily the most versatile range of paint options for all electric wheels currently sold in India. This follows Ola’s announcement of the collection one lakh reservation to the e-scooter within 24 hours of opening the booking.

The eight shades of the Ola Series S-scooter confirmed in this video include three pastel colors (red, yellow and sky blue), three matte paint options (black, satin blue and gray) and two metallic paint options (pink and white). The shades missing from this video are gold and silver, both of which will probably only be revealed upon release.

The Ola electric kickboard is expected to be available in Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro model versions. Ola Electric has also revealed that the scooter can be charged with a standard 5A outlet or one of its Hypercharger charging stations, which are currently in more than 100 cities and will eventually cover more than 400 cities. Interestingly, Ola has decided not to move to a traditional dealer network, but instead sell the e-scooter directly to buyers and deliver it to their doorstep.

Ola Electric has previously said that its electric kickboard has class-leading acceleration. It is currently unclear which scooters Ola considers to be competitors, but from the point of view, the Ather 450X – which is currently the fastest accelerating e-scooter in India – does 0-40 km / h in 3.3 seconds and 0-60 km / h in 6.5 seconds. The lower technical level Ather 450 Plus, on the other hand, can reach 0-40 km / h in 3.9 seconds and 0-60 km / h in 8.29 seconds.

When launched in the coming days, the Ola Electric kickboard is expected to be in the price range of 80,000 to 1.1 lacquers.
