If you have invested in the story of Master Chief, Cortana and his destiny Hello universe, you may want to keep your head down and start muting some keywords on social media until Halo Infinite will arrive later this year – as the game’s full-story spoilers are now hovering over the Internet.
Note: however, we consider this message spoiler-free.
Halo Infinite Creative Director Joseph Staten confirmed on Twitter that Microsoft accidentally spilled “a small number of Halo Infinite campaign files” when it released the game’s first multiplayer beta yesterday, July 29th, saying it “can ruin the campaign experience for everyone”.
Such leaks are painful for the development team and can ruin the campaign experience for everyone. So please keep your eyes open for spoilers and don’t spread them if you see them. ❤️ 2/2

As far as we can tell, it’s no exaggeration – we found a clear text dump on the web with over 800 strings that seem to come from Halo Infinitea campaign that seems to describe both your in-game goals and the basic descriptions of the plot throughout the game. (At least one of them literally depicts plot twists.)
We do not link to strings, although they are not very difficult to find if you really want to ruin your campaign. But if instead you try to keep the spoilers away, we recommend our guide to muting words on Twitter?
