[ad_1]

Razer expands the range of mechanical keyboard accessories with new keyboards, cables and wristbands that provide a convenient way to change the look of your keyboard. Accessories start at $ 20 for new wrist rests and range up to $ 50 from a customization package that includes both colorful key caps and a matching USB cable.

If you have spent time in such forums Mechanical keyboards subreddit, you’re no stranger to fantastic colorful keyboards where people want to customize their keyboards. But in addition to fast-growing hobby shops Drop and Great PC game contest, many of the best caps come from the limited times or long waiting times of small manufacturers. Razer’s designs may be simpler, but it’s a major manufacturer that sells through retailers around the world, making the products very readily available.

Phantom keyboards have a translucent base that allows the keyboard backlight to shine.

First, there are new $ 50 customization kits. These are the same 120 durable PBT plastic key cases that Razer has previously sold in the series for $ 30 and with the addition of a new twisted-pair USB-C-USB-A cable. They are available in black, white, green and pink, and feature durable dual shooting markings that also let the keyboard backlight shine. They support both US and UK keyboard layouts, however Gizmodo notes that they don’t support some of the rarer layouts, such as the 65 percent Blackwidow V3 Mini.

Next are the $ 35 Phantom Keycap Kits, available in black and white. The unique thing here is that the bottom of the keyboard is translucent, which goes well with backlit keyboards. They’re made from less premium ABS plastic (which tends to develop gloss over time), but come with 128 key locks, which means better support for keyboards with fewer standard layouts.

Finally, there is Razer’s new $ 20 wrist rest for small keyless and mini keyboards. They are meant to offer more comfort compared to the rest of the Razer keyboards, and a memory foam interior that should be a little easier on the wrists.

Razer’s new series are now available on Razer.com, and the company says they will be coming to more resellers starting September 11th.
