Recent leaks indicate that new iPhones may always have monitors in use, such as an Apple clock

New report BloombergMark Gurman says the 2021 iPhone can always be on similar to the Apple clockand what Android phones have been around for a while. Gurman wrote Power On Newsletter that phones have better battery life, a smaller notch on the screen, better video recording, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a faster A15 chip.

It’s not the first time the leak has suggested that Apple is constantly working on upcoming iPhone displays. Leaky Max Weinbach hinted earlier this year that Apple can use the same types of low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) panels that its watches have on future iPhones.

That is consistent BloombergAn earlier report that “at least one” of the four new iPhones includes an LTPO display. The technology dynamically adjusts the refresh rates of the watch display to save battery power. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also said earlier this year that the upcoming Pro iPhones this year would have LTPO monitors and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Gurman said of the possibility of always being on iPhone screens, Apple is likely to announce new MacBook professionals this fall, “no later than September-November.” Computer production will begin in the third quarter, he adds.
