The Samsung Galaxy A22 is reportedly found on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website and in the HTML5 test list. According to the BIS list, the smartphone will soon be launched in India. According to reports, the handset will debut in both 4G and 5G variants in the second half of 2021. Last month, the specifications for the smartphone camera went online and revealed that the handset may have a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a quad-band rear camera settings.
As a report by MySmartPrice, Samsung Galaxy A22 carries the model number SM-A225F in both lists. According to the HTML5 test list, the phone can run on Android 11. This is the same model number previously attached with the upcoming 4G conversion Samsung smartphone. It used to be reported that a 5G conversion the phone was also at work. Both 4G and 5G versions of the phone are expected to launch in the second half of 2021.
Earlier this year, the second report Samsung claimed that the Samsung Galaxy A22 could be equipped with a four – line rear camera, which is likely to include a 48 – megapixel main camera, an 8 – megapixel secondary camera and two 2 – megapixel sensors. The phone is also said to have a 13 megapixel selfie camera. This is identical to the camera specifications Samsung Galaxy A21s it was launched in May last year.
The report also claimed that the front camera module on the Samsung Galaxy A22 could be produced by Coasia and Samsung Electro-Mechanics, which are said to have also developed camera modules for the Samsung Galaxy A72 and Galaxy A52. Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced that it had previously only supplied camera modules for Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Note and Galaxy S-series phones.
