The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G version with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC will be released soon. Samsung introduced the Galaxy S20 FE in September last year in both 4G and 5G models. The 4G variant is powered by the Exynos 990 SoC, while the 5G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC. According to a new report, it appears that the Galaxy S20 FE will become a 4G variant with the Snapdragon 865 SoC, effectively replacing the Exynos 990.

After bring to the markets of 4G and 5G Galaxy S20 FE versions in the US in September last year, only 4G conversion made his way To the Indian market a month later. Then last month, Samsung launched 5G version phone here. Now a report WinFuture, the South Korean technical giant, plans to replace the Galaxy S20 FE’s 4G conversion with an Exynos 990 SoC engine with a 4G conversion used by the Snapdragon 865 SoC.

The report states that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G will have the model number SM-G780G and will have the same specifications as the 5G version, but without the Snapdragon X55 5G modem. Interestingly, this variation of the phone is already listed on the company’s Scandinavian website in four color options – Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy and Cloud Red, with a single 128GB storage rack. However, there is no pricing or availability information for this Galaxy S20 FE.

The Galaxy S20 FE collection has become a bit confusing with several variations already on the market and in the future. However, it looks like Samsung is planning to retire its Exynos 990 SoC-powered model from the market, which makes sense given the stunning performance of this variant, especially compared to its Snapdragon counterpart. In fact, this is not the first time we have heard of such a plan as earlier this month, the second report stated the same. But at the time, it was hinted that the Snapdragon 865+ SoC would have a new version to replace the Exynos 990-powered model.

It should be noted that Samsung has not yet shared information about the new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, but mini-road map The FE Unpacked event scheduled for August 19 for Samsung’s events this year was leaked. This can happen when the new version of Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is released.
