In India, Sennheiser introduced the IE 100 Pro BT, the successor to the IE 40 Pro. IE 100 Pro earphones are available in wired and wireless versions. They cost Rs 9,900 and Rs 11,900 respectively. They are available in black, bright and red. The new releases are available exclusively from Amazon. Customers can also get their hands on the IE 100 BT (Bluetooth) connector, which comes separately and is listed at Rs 7,900.
Sennheiser’s new IE 100 Pro wireless ear canals can be easily replaced with a cable with a BT connector. The connector has a built-in microphone, a remote control to control calls and music, and a long-lasting battery life of up to ten hours. The ears have an AptX Low Latency codec that allows audio and video to be synchronized. They provide accurate tracking and better music management.
The IE 100 Pro has a similar sensor and frequency response as its predecessors. However, it now has the same type of connector and a stepless internal cable channel similar to the IE 400 Pro and IE 500 Pro sound cards. The 100 Pro is also available specifically for stage work.
The new IE Pro mono cable is a twisted cable that attenuates first-class structural noise. It can be used with either the right or left headset, enabling a one-sided transmission solution for direct monitoring, correspondents and ENG applications. The left signal is transmitted with a stereo signal.
The headphones have silicone and memory foam eartips that are suitable for ear canals and molds. The overall comfort of the fit is supported by a low-profile mold. They also have a reinforced ear hook and a detachable cable with a patent application, while an unbreakable connector allows for a smoother performance on stage.
