This feature will initially be available in certain locations.
In addition, Google is expanding vaccines, testing and vaccination centers and other Covid-19 security protocols through Google search, YouTube, and Maps in India.
In an official blog post, Google has stressed that by supporting India’s fight with the Covid-19 pandemic, it will focus on three priority areas. These key points are “ensuring that people have access to the latest and most authoritative information, strengthening important safety and vaccination messages, and providing financial support to affected communities, health authorities and other organizations”.
Covid-19 vaccine – information and vaccination centers
Google intends to provide a lot of information about Covid-19 through search, which makes it a very useful and authentic source of information. Not only does it show information about vaccinations, search on all devices now shows information boxes whenever someone searches for vaccines.
The idea of these panels is to provide various details about vaccines, their effectiveness, safety precautions, and side effects. In addition, information on prevention, self-care and treatment obtained by the Ministry of Health and Family Law is also available on the panels.
Users will also receive a link CoWIN portal help them register for vaccinations. Google now shares the location of 2,500 testing centers and 23,000 vaccination centers through Search and Maps. To make this information easy to understand, the results are available in a total of 9 different languages, including Hindi, English, and seven other regional languages.

Most importantly, Google intends to provide fast but important information around hospital beds and oxygen cylinders using Google Maps. To do this, Google uses Maps ’Q&A feature, which allows users to ask about the availability of beds or oxygen.
Although Google is said to be testing this feature right now, it can be wicked for people who need urgent medical attention. At a time when there is a shortage of beds, medical equipment and oxygen cylinders, etc. in the country, this tool can prove handy.
