3.Dell Alienware 17 R2

Alienware has come a long way since it landed back in 1996. A long time has passed since the days of bright green laptops and desktops adorned with giant alien skulls; fortunately, the Alienware family has evolved into a much more stylish breed, and the Alienware 17 is the latest proof of that progress.

Alienware 17 R2 Review: Design

If you’re going to spend most of on a gaming laptop, you want it to look good, and here’s Alienware 17 to deliver. It exudes heavy-duty class and its body is finished in a high-end soft matte black and pistol grey palette.Combined with sharp contours and aggressively cut corners, it makes a devilishly handsome, impressive model.

It’s a beast, but sophisticated, certainly compared to high-end competitors like the MSI GT72 Dominator Pro.Alienware has also narrowed down the 17-inch laptop: it is 37mm thick compared to MSI’s 58mm, although it is no lighter than its thicker competitor, which weighs a considerable 3.8kg. However, the change is not at the expense of the quality of the building. This gaming laptop doesn’t just look like an inch from a power plant, it feels like an expensive millimeter of platform.

And if Alienware looks underrated in our pictures, it’s a completely different animal when you launch it. Multi-colored LEDs illuminate the strips across the front edge and cover and radiate behind the keyboard, touchpad, status lights, and Alienware logo below the screen. Deep into the AlienFX control panel, and each area can be illuminated in different colors – pink, red, purple and blue – or turned off completely.

Alienware 17 R2 Overview: Definition and Display

The Alienware 17 entry level specification is available for £ 1299 incl. VAT. For that money, you get a Core i7-4710HQ processor, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB 5400rpm hard drive, and a GeForce GTX 970M graphics chip. However, look for £ 623 in your budget and you can upgrade to the specification here, which includes 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7-4980HQ, 8 GB of RAM, both a 256 GB M.2 SSD and a 1 TB hard drive, and 4 GB: n GeForce GTX 980M. The Alienware 17 comes with a Full HD display as standard, but if for some reason you particularly like the idea of getting your fingerprints on the new glossy display, you can upgrade to a touch screen with an extra £ 150.

Our inspection unit came with a standard, touch-free Full HD display. The image quality is good rather than stunning, although Alienware got off to a positive start in the test series. The brightness achieves an impressive 347 cd / m2 and the contrast exceeds the equally respectable 972: 1. However, the panel tried to reproduce the richest, most saturated colors in our tests.

It covered only 86.4% of the sRGB color level, and the color resolution is only average. We measured an average Delta E of 3.91 and a maximum deviation of 8.5, but the difference between the colors on the screen and their intended hue is obvious to the naked eye, and most colors only look like a touch that is washed more thoroughly.

Crucially, there are no comments on response time, such as ghosting; viewing angles are wide; and the matte, non-reflective surface on the IPS panel is a nice surprise. The result is no aggravating reflections, and fortunately the anti-glare coating used by Alienware does not cause the desired

Alienware 17 R2 Review: Performance

In terms of performance, the Alienware 17 is as fast as you’d expect from a laptop with a 2.8GHz quad-core Core i7, SSD drive, and a large combination of RAM. However, despite the faster processor, it wasn’t much faster than MSI’s GT72 Dominator Pro, which scored 1.1 on MSI’s 1.04. This is likely due to MSI’s dual RAID-configured SSDs.

However, there is a little more air in the game tests between the two laptops. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M helps the Alienware 17 R2 achieve truly addictive test results. In our high-quality Crysis test (run at 1,920 x 1,080), it achieved 85 frames per second, which is 12 frames per second softer than MSI. In this processor-limited scenario, Alienware’s faster processor gives it an advantage over MSI.

ADVANCED ALIENWARE CRYO-TECH

Advanced Alienware Cryo-Tech is a technical approach where the gaming power of the Alienware system is never compromised by electrical or mechanical methods, but the system remains stable even at peak performance.

Heat evaporation utilizes, for example, the creative design of heat modules and fans, the design of the fan motor, the arrangement of the outlet and inlet openings, and the general impedance of the air flow.

In addition, the new m17 laptop improves airflow by channeling cooler air directly to sensitive core parts. The fans use 66 mm diameter fan blades – the number of CPU fan blades has been increased by 53% and the graphics card by 25%.

Thanks to the latest technical improvements, energy efficiency is improved and operations are faster even in long-term use. The following is a more detailed description of our innovative cooling solution:

Steam chamber technology:Alienware’s new steam chamber technology utilizes advanced methods and efficiently evaporates heat. The new Alienware m17 is designed with a separate steam chamber between the processor and the copper heat pipes.

All of this is designed to control cooling and maximize performance. The chambers take advantage of changes in the state of the liquid, allowing them to transfer heat more efficiently than solid metal or copper heat pipes. Steam chambers are also more versatile than copper heat pipes, as they can be evenly distributed on a cooled circuit. These CPU steam chambers are only available for configurations that use NVIDIA GeForce RTX and GTX graphics cards.

Description-

For those of you who find joy in larger gaming laptop form factors, the recently unveiled Alienware x17 R2 is proof that your mobile battle station size preference has not been left behind. Better still, Dell has a found a way to maintain its larger display and keyboard form factor while making this the thinnest 17-inch Alienware laptop yet, and it doesn’t come at the expense of CPU and GPU firepower or cutting-edge features. So, when the opportunity came to kick the tires on the new Alienware x17 R2, we pounced. Afterall, now also infused with Intel Alder Lake mobile CPU and beastly GeForce RTX 3080 Ti mobile GPU muscle, this thin but spacious alien craft should chalk up some out-of-this-world benchmark numbers to boot.

We’ll get to the numbers in a moment, but first let’s examine the physical makeup and what lies under its hood. Dell trotted out the latest iteration of the Alienware x17 at CES 2022, the same event that saw the unveiling of a bevy of Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake-H laptop CPUs promising up to a 28 percent boost for gaming, and a new top-dog mobile GPU from NVIDIA in the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. As such, Dell wasted no time injecting the x17 R2 with the fastest mobile silicon from both Intel and NVIDIA.

Specifically, the x17 R2 we’re testing here rocks an Intel Core i9-12900HK processor, which is a top-of-the-line 14-core/20-thread chip comprised of six (Golden Cove) P-cores supporting Hyper Threading for heavy lifting, and eight E-cores (Gracemont) for less demanding compute tasks. Those P-cores can ramp up to 5GHz, and there’s also a chunky allotment of L3 cache (24MB), all wrapped in a 45W (base) power package. But let’s pause for a few minutes with all the speeds and feeds, to give you the quick nickel tour hands-on with the new Alienware x17 R2, so you can see it in the real, then we’ll come back to the analysis…

Description-

Alienware x17 R2 pricing and configurations

I’m still over the moon with Alienware’s Legend design. We’re now in the 2.0 version of the look, which translates to leaner, more lights and cleaner lines. The notebook, made of magnesium alloy and CNC aluminum, is done in the company’s Lunar Light finish, a color that invokes visions of space shuttles and the moon. A large 17 decal sits in the bottom right corner with the telltale backlit alien head holds court at the top. The rear vent is black and lined with an oval ring of customizable LED lighting.

The interior welcomes you with a spread of black soft touch material along the deck. Initially, the keyboard glows a lovely turquoise and sits between three sets of vents and the touchpad, but you can customize it to glow to your specifications later. The power button sits in the top right corner, represented as another glowing alien head,

Being a desktop replacement, it’s expected for the x17 to have a bit of heft to it. The 15.7 x 11.8 x 0.8-inch notebook weighs in at 7.1 pounds making it lighter than the MSI GE76 Raider (8.8 pounds, 15.6 x 11.2 x 1 inches), but not the Razer Blade 17 (6.1 pounds, 15.6 x 10.2 x 0.8 inches) nor the Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition (5.1 pounds, 14.1 x 10.8 x 1 inches). The latter of which is a true 15-inch system.

Alienware x17 R2 security

For some gamers, security might not be a big priority. For others, the more secure their precious save data is, the better. The Alienware x17 R2 offers a couple of security features to keep the hackers and malware away. First, the webcam is Windows Hello compatible for facial recognition logins. The system also has TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module), a chip that is a secure cryptoprocessor that utilizes a cryptographic key to keep your system’s BIOS secure.

Alienware 15

4th-Gen Haswell Intel Core Performance

The Alienware 15 houses a powerful yet low-voltage Intel Core i5-4210H processor. Its quad cores can run at 2.90 GHz. It can also be overclocked up to 3.5 GHz, thanks to Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. The dual cores can also be pushed to 4 virtual threads for added performance. The 8GB of DDR3L RAM memory ensures that programs and games open quickly with minimum loading times. Multitasking runs smoothly so you can check email, browse the Internet, and more.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M Graphics

The Alienware 15 features a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M graphics card with 2GB of GDDR5 discrete memory. Featuring NVIDIA’s advanced Maxwell architecture, the GTX 965M utilizes advanced sampling and Dynamic Super Resolution technology to provide high performance and efficient power management. With Multi-Frame sampled Anti-Aliasing (MFAA), the GeForce GTX 965M delivers a 30% performance boost while maintaining smooth, high-quality edges by alternating sample calculations across each frame and each pixel. Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) can produce 4K fidelity on a 1080p display for added detail and high image quality. Part of the NVIDIA GameWorks library for developers, Voxel Global Illumination (VXGI) accelerates dynamic lighting effects for an immersive, cinematic experience. The GTX 965M also supports NVIDIA GameStream, NVIDIA G-Sync, and NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 for added performance and features.

15.6″ Full HD Display

Having a high-end graphics card doesn’t mean much if the display isn’t up to par. Fortunately, the Alienware 15 provides a high-definition 15.6″ widescreen display. The display features in-plane switching (IPS) technology for wide viewing angles. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution. This means that the display can play Full HD content without letterboxing. You can also output to an HDTV via the HDMI or Mini DisplayPort.

Intel Dual-Band 802.11ac Wi-Fi

Featuring Intel dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, the Alienware 15 delivers high performance, broader coverage, and longer battery life. The Alienware 15 also comes with Bluetooth 4.0 technology so you’ll be able to connect wirelessly to Bluetooth-compatible peripherals and accessories.

Alienware AAW17R4-7002SLV-PUS Summary

Alienware AAW17R4-7002SLV-PUS is a Windows 10 laptop with a 17.00-inch display that has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It is powered by a Core i7 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM.

Graphics are powered by Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060. it comes with 1 USB ports ports.

This is a powerful gaming laptop with awesome color led customization, excellent sound, and a sleek design. For gaming, this computer can handle larger up to date games without any hesitations. The touch pad is sensitive enough for quick responses if you aren’t using a mouse, and the speakers provide rich, immersive sound. One of the things I really like about the design of this is that the power cord and other cable ports are on the back, keeping them off of your desk area and tucked away. For day-to-day office work, you can run multiple programs in the background. I’ve had music playing, research open in a few internet tabs, a writing software, and files open all together without any lag. Overall this is an awesome laptop whether you game more, or work more on it. It will handle most needs, from gaming, to graphic design, or simply an office computer. If you are looking for a new gaming laptop, or a laptop fo everyday use with more power, I am thoroughly impressed with this and highly recommend it.

Hands down the best laptop I’ve ever had. Well worth the price, and handles everything I throw at it like a beast. I bought it to make videos for my youtube channel “FisherOfMen” which is how I was able to afford this laptop. I also bought it for gaming and it runs like a majestic gazelle running from a pack of starving wolves…..fast, smoothly, and without pausing a beat.

What an awesome laptop.

The lines on this machine speak to the care and detail they put into every aspect. The computer is very solid and well constructed. The screen boasts a 17″ screen and it is beautiful to look at. Anyone familiar with gaming knows you’re gonna spend a lot of time looking at the screen so it better deliver and it does. With this kind of power, Alienware did a great job of the ventilation.

It does feel warm but it doesn’t get over hot. The sound is fantastic although I know most people will load up their gamer headsets I still enjoy hearing the sound through the on-board speakers and there is no denying the quality of the speaker system.Of course, what would Alienware be without all the cool lighting? Built into the computer are LED areas on the keyboard, LED logos, highlights on the sides, and of course the light up touchpad. I for one will never understand even having the touchpad. Everyone uses a mouse – if you’ve never had a laptop before do yourself a favor – forget the touchpad.

They are annoying. That said if you don’t have a mouse the touchpad is very responsive and although it is a touchpad it works very well. For anyone not familiar – Alienware has its own configuration. This is found in the start bar. Alienware command center. This answered a lot of my questions such as why the computer goes to sleep even after I thought I had already told it not to.A couple of basic computer steps I highly suggest.

By opening windows explorer right click on ‘computer’. Change your computer name. Right click on the start and select computer management > Local Users and Groups > Administrator > Right click set password; right click properties; deselect account is disabled. Get familiar with the Alienware command center. Put it on your desktop and don’t be afraid to play around. I have two young boys who LOVE playing with this app as it also controls the colors of the lights. (mentioned above).

Description-

Design

While it’s not a wild reimagining of the iconic Alienware laptop design, the x17 R1 does have one unique hook that grabs the eye as soon as you boot it up. The trackpad – a dull black rectangle on previous models – is now a vibrant RGB quadrilateral! Shockingly, this doesn’t improve your gaming performance, but it sure does look good.

Elsewhere, the RGB lighting seen in older iterations is still kicking. In addition to per-key RGB across the keyboard, the Alienware logo glows gently and a large ring of lighting surrounds the ports on the rear of the chassis. The exterior finish is a clean, familiar white (sorry, ‘Lunar Light’) while opening the lid reveals a black interior, all the better to showcase all that RGB – and to focus your eyes on the on-screen action.

The hexagonal venting above the keyboard also makes a return from previous versions, but hidden beneath it is a new proprietary cooling system. Dell reckons this is a pretty big deal; four internal fans and a specially-designed thermal interface material means that the x17 R1 should run cooler than its ancestors – although the bar is admittedly low there.

Features

SPECS

Processor: Intel Core i7-11800H

Graphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080

Memory: 16GB DDR4 RAM @ 3,200MHz

Ports: 1x HDMI, 2x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, 1x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, 1x Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C, Micro SD, Mini DisplayPort 1x RJ45 Ethernet, 1x 3.5mm global headset jack

Connectivity: Killer WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2

OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit

Weight: 3.02kg

While it can be purchased with a conventional 1080p display, our review model of the x17 R1 has a 4K panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4ms latency. And what a gorgeous screen it is; colours are incredibly bright and vibrant, and gaming landscapes look absolutely stunning with the power of one of the best graphics cards, the RTX 3080, behind them.

In addition to the impressive display, Dell gives customers some different options for the keyboard too. Our unit has a traditional laptop membrane keyboard, which feels pretty good for both typing and gaming, but for an extra hundred or so dollars or pounds, you can spring for a mechanical version using Cherry MX ultra-low-profile switches for a superior gaming experience – something that evokes the feel of one of the best gaming keyboards.

Joining the GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card is an Intel Core i7-11800H CPU, 16GB of high-speed RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The latter two of these are upgradable to 64GB and 2TB respectively, although that naturally leads to a further price hike.

The new cooling system means that some of the ports have been repositioned to the rear of the laptop, leaving just the charging port and headphone jack on the left and right sides respectively. At the back, we’ve got a healthy selection: Two each of USB Type-A and Type-C (one of which is Thunderbolt 4 enabled), HDMI 2.1, microSD, Ethernet, and mini DisplayPort.

Beyond that, there’s not much else to highlight; the x17 R1 is already a powerhouse, and it doesn’t need many bells and whistles to show off. Killer Wi-Fi 6, an IR webcam with Windows Hello support, and a TPM 2.0 chip for Windows 11 support all serve to round off the package.

PROS

  • Sleek, slim design
  • High-frame-rate gaming with RTX 3070 GPU
  • 240Hz screen with 1440p resolution

CONS

  • Thinner than, but not as light as, some high-end competitors
  • Insufficient storage in test unit and base model
  • Hot and loud while gaming

Alienware has decided to streamline and facelift its futuristic M-Series gaming laptops in the form of the slimmer X-Series, new successors to its celebrated m15 and m17 notebooks. We recently reviewed the Alienware x17 and now come to its smaller sibling, the x15 (starts at $2,099.99; $2,549.99 as tested).

In both cases, the thinner chassis actually adds a bit of weight, so while the new gaming rigs are less thick, they’re not really more portable. The redesign does work better at 15 inches than 17 inches, with the x15 topping out at 5 pounds (the x17 weighs 7.05 pounds), and our review unit delivers a high level of performance with its 11th Generation Intel Core i7 CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU.

The 512GB of solid-state storage in our test unit is a bit light for the price, however, and while the x15 posted some performance highs in AAA games, it had a lower frame-rate ceiling than some alternatives. The Alienware x15 is a solid gaming laptop with advanced features, but competitor Razer offers a lighter, nicer machine with longer battery life in the form of the Blade 15 Advanced Edition

Description-

Since redesigning its flagship gaming laptops in 2019, Alienware has put out a number of stylish machines we’ve rated highly in both 15-inch and 17-inch screen sizes. The new m17 R4 (starts at $1,812.99; $3,609.99 as tested) follows the 17-inch blueprint we’ve seen before, but adds two key features: an Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 Series GPU, and an optional, low-profile mechanical keyboard co-developed with leading key-switch maker Cherry. Both are a success, boosting gaming performance to an impressive new level and delivering a uniquely satisfying typing experience. The battery life is still disappointing, and configuring a system with all the extras (like a 360Hz screen) will cost you, but the base design is top-quality and the options are plentiful. All of this adds up to our favorite current giant-screen premium gaming machine, and an Editors’ Choice award.

At a glance, you wouldn’t know that the m17 R4 was a different laptop than the R3. The design is almost identical, though there are some detail differences beyond the keyboard. The build quality remains strong, with a nice soft-touch plastic exterior and a sturdy frame. At 0.87 by 15.7 by 11.6 inches (HWD), it’s a hundredth of an inch thinner than the R3, which is commendable given the mechanical keys and more powerful components—if anything, you’d expect it to be a bit thicker. Of course, the laptop still tips the scales at a hefty 6.5 pounds and comes with a beefy power brick, reducing its appeal as a frequent travel companion.

  • Customizable keyboard (per-key) and chassis lighting

CONS

  • 60Hz 4K display a debatable choice for gaming
  • Achieving 60fps at 4K with ray tracing enabled is still a bridge too far for this GPU

Description-

The Alienware m15 R3 was one of our favorite gaming laptops of 2020, standing out with unique styling and the muscle to back it up. The m15 R4 (starts at $2,149.99; $2,499 as tested) is a component-level revamp that uses the same chassis but adds Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 30 Series “Ampere” GPUs, newly announced for laptops at CES 2021 earlier this month. Our test unit packs an RTX 3070, which delivers demonstrable frame-rate gains over its previous-generation counterparts, especially at higher resolutions, and makes 60-frame-per-second (fps) ray tracing a possibility on laptops.

The m15 R4 is a promising first look at what should become commonplace in high-end machines by year’s end, even if it’s not as much of a leap over the GeForce RTX 20 Series as it was on the desktop. Our particular m15 configuration adds some cost with 1TB of solid-state storage and a 4K OLED display. (Alienware’s lower-resolution, higher-refresh-rate screen options will be better picks for avid gamers.) But the core takeaway? One of our favorite laptops is now even faster, thanks to Nvidia’s latest silicon. It retains our Editors’ Choice award for high-end gaming laptops.

  • 512GB SSD as configured is restrictive at this price

Description-

The modern Alienware m15 design is well-trodden interplanetary soil for us, having reviewed several annual iterations of the slim gaming laptop. The latest, the m15 Ryzen Edition R5 (starts at $1,567.99; $1,649.99 as tested), does what it says on the box: bring AMD’s latest Ryzen processors to bear for both gaming and media editing. The CPU is notably quicker than its Intel competition, and it teams well with the machine’s Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU to approach the frame rates of more expensive systems. As a whole, this is an appealing midrange package at a very fair price, with a nice supporting feature set like a 165Hz display and long battery life. It doesn’t quite earn an Editors’ Choice award among gaming laptops. (We like the Acer Predator Triton 300 SE and the Razer Blade 15 Advanced Edition, somewhat south and north of the Alienware’s price, respectively.) But it’s one of the best options between the two.

While the internals are the exciting new draw in this edition, the exterior, as mentioned, is one we’re quite familiar with. This current iteration of Alienware laptop design has only been around since 2019, starting with the m15 R2, but we’ve already seen quite a few 15- and 17-inch laptops pass through our labs with this look.

Description-

Dell Alienware m15 R7 is a Windows 11 laptop with a 15.60-inch display that has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It is powered by a Core i7 processor and it comes with 16GB of RAM. The Dell Alienware m15 R7 packs 256GB of SSD storage. Graphics are powered by Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti.

Dell has released AMD Ryzen 6000 versions of the Alienware m15 R7, previously available with just Intel Alder Lake options. The Alienware m15 R7 comes with up to a Ryzen 9 6900HX, an RTX 3080 Ti and a 360 Hz display, among other gaming-focused features.

Dell upgraded the Alienware m15 R7 to Intel Alder Lake processors a while ago, with the company offering options like the Core i7-12700H. However, it has now released AMD Ryzen 6000 editions paired with powerful NVIDIA GPUs. Specifically, the Alienware m15 R7 is now available with a Ryzen 9 6900HX, a 45 W APU that contains the Radeon 680M.

Additionally, the machine is configurable with up to a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, mirroring the AORUS 17X YE. Also, Dell offers AMD versions of the Alienware m15 R7 with 165 Hz, 240 Hz and 360 Hz display options, along with 64 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM. Elsewhere, the Alienware m15 R7 supports up to 4 GB of PCIe NVMe storage and comes with 56 Wh or 86 Wh battery options.

Separately, all Alienware m15 R7 configurations ship with three USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, a single USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C connection, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Sadly, AMD machines must still do without Thunderbolt support for one reason or another. Unsurprisingly, the Ryzen 9 6900HX and RTX 3080 Ti combination does not come cheap, with Dell charging at least US$2,749.99. The Alienware m15 R7 starts at US$1,499.99 though, and is orderable now from Dell.

Description-

With the m15 and m17, Alienware redesigned its flagship gaming laptops with a futuristic look and high-end modern parts. We liked them for their standout style and nearly unmatched mobile performance. Today, the Alienware X Series is trimming the chassis a bit further: The Alienware x17 (starts at $2,199.99; $3,680 as tested) offers a similar but evolved design, and our review unit is maxed out with a Core i7 CPU, GeForce RTX 3080 graphics, 32GB of RAM, and a 120Hz screen with 4K resolution for fabulous gaming performance. That said, it doesn’t outperform premium 15-inch gaming rigs, and is actually heavier than the only negligibly thicker model m17, which makes us scratch our heads about this redesign. Lacking superior portability or power, the Alienware x17 is a tough sell over the (also expensive) m17 or Razer Blade 15.

Alienware’s m15 and m17 designs are proven hits, combining sleek style with top-end power, but the X Series emphasizes portability. The x17 (and x15, which we’ll be reviewing soon) features similar design cues but trims the build down further and adds a few visual tweaks.

CONS

  • Expensive
  • 14-inch screen size may be too small for some hardcore gamers

Description-

It’s safe to say gaming laptops with 14-inch screens are in vogue. Multiple manufacturers are now offering downsized versions of the most popular 15-inch and 17-inch designs. Among them is the new Alienware x14 (starts at $1,649.99; $2,299.99 as tested), a new size for the X Series that takes its design cues from the larger Alienware x15 and x17. The slim and compact design makes much more sense at 14 inches than it did at larger screen sizes, though, resulting in a truly portable laptop that has reason to be especially trim.

The internal power backs up the concept: The brand-new Intel Core i7 “Alder Lake” processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU in our model deliver a full-fledged gaming experience, comparable to or better than competing laptops. You can still get more power per dollar in a larger laptop, but if you know your gaming rig will be a frequent travel companion, the Alienware x14 is a top option.

Note- DELL Alienware M17 R5 Gaming Laptop Comes with AMD Ryzen 7 6800H Processor, 16GB DDR5 4800MHz dual-channel Memory and 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD solid state drive internal storage. The Laptop has 17.3 inch screen size, Height (Front): 0.58 (14.62 mm) Height (Peak): 1.05 (26.70 mm) Height (Rear): 0.89 (22.61 mm) Width: 15.64 (397.30 mm) Depth: 11.76 (298.71 mm) Physical Dimension, 7.3 lbs.
