Chinese hardware company Colorful is releasing a new, limited edition RTX 3060 graphics card, and calling it cute doesn’t even begin to obscure it. For gamers and sports enthusiasts skilled in aesthetic PC design, the Colorful iGame GeForce RTX 3060 Bilibili E-Sports OC is coming to market in the United States. Despite the fact that this card is priced higher than most RTX 3060 graphics cards quickly, the unique design is enough to pique interest.
At first glance, the card doesn’t seem to be similar to most other RTX 3060 models on the market, and we don’t just mean pastel colors. We’re all used to the RTX 3060 instead of the RTX 3060, this GPU closely resembles NVIDIA’s reference models for the RTX 3080 and RTX 3080 graphics cards. The alloy metal sheath is suitably covered with colorful art that fits well with the brand and is fun to look at.
The vibrant design is complemented by customizable RGB lighting around the edges. It’s also paired with a magnetic backplane that allows builders and Moderators to further adapt to the content of their hearts. This is a graphics card that would look great on fine PC designs, but still not look great on regular workstations.
Similarities with the RTX 3080 models are evident in the cooling system of this GPU. There are two 90 mm axial fans on opposite sides of the card, although the circuit board (PCB) is still short. The bottom of the card also has four heat pipes, each 6 mm in diameter, and a nickel-plated copper base. Colorful added the card’s TDP (thermal design power) to just 187 watts while keeping the 8-pin power connector standard.
The card is overclocked from the box to 1822 MHz, but its base clock is 1320 MHz, making it similar to other overclocked RTX 3060 models, such as Gigabytes or Asus This is combined with a 12GB GDDR6 memory and a 15GB memory clock. It measures 11.3 to 4.6 inches and has four display ports: three for DisplayPort 1.4 and one for HDMI 2.1.
The colorful iGame Geforce RTX 3060 Bilibili E-Sports OC was originally released as a lottery prize for users of the Chinese Bilibili video platform. The company has now announced that it will release the card for limited sales in the U.S. market at a suggested retail price of $ 839.
At a time when graphics cards are scarce, a special model like this is no surprise. This is as much a card for gamers and fanatics as an accessory that is proudly displayed inside a PC case. They are likely to be picked up by those who care as much about the aesthetics of their building as about the performance. One thing is for sure – finding another graphics card that can look this adorable when you run the latest games at high settings is almost impossible right now.
