In the sequel to DreamWorks Animation’s Oscar® nomination success comedy, the Templeton brothers – Tim (James Marsden, X-Men franchise) and his little Boss Baby daughter Ted (Alec Baldwin) – have grown up and drifted apart. Tim is now a married father. Ted is the CEO of hedge funds. But a new boss baby with a top-notch approach and a knowledgeable attitude is bringing them back together and inspiring a new family business.
Tim and his wife, family subsistence Carol (Eva Longoria), live in the suburbs with their super-intelligent 7-year-old daughter Tabitha (Ariana Greenblatt, Avengers: Infinity War) and adorable newborn Tina (Amy). Tabitha, who is at the top of her class at the prestigious Acorn Center for Advanced Childhood, idols her uncle Ted and wants to become like her, but Tim, who is still connected to his overactive youthful imagination, makes sure he works too hard and is missing a normal childhood.
When baby Tina reveals that she is – ta-da! – BabyCorp’s top secret agent tasked with uncovering the dark secrets of Tabitha School and its mysterious founder, Dr. Edwin Armstrong (Jeff Goldblum), unites the Templeton brothers in unexpected ways, directing them to re-evaluate the importance of the family and figure out what really matters.
Boss Baby: A family business will be published on 2. July in the U.S. and October 22 in the UK, and features voice actors including James Marsden, Alec Baldwin, Eva Longoria, Ariana Greenblatt, Amy Sedaris and Jeff Goldblum.
