Fortnite hosts the second round of its animated short film festival, called “Short Nite 2”, – the game’s original Short Nite Festival that the developer Epic organized earlier this year.
According to Epic, Short Nite 2 features a “series of animations, online shorts created by future creators,” which, like the original event, appear in the game’s unbeatable Party Royale mode. Short Nite 2 starts on Friday, July 23 at 2:00 PM ET and lasts about 40 minutes. If you don’t make your debut, the short films will resume playing on July 25 at 2 p.m. ET.
The developer hasn’t yet announced a complete list, but it points out that there are two Gildedguy-animated shorts in the stream, including the debut of the series ’new short film, Gildedguy gets up!
To celebrate, Epic is also releasing Gildedguy as a character Fortnite itself – it can be purchased from the merchandise store from July 22 at 8pm ET.
