Realme 8 Pro is reportedly getting an update in India to fix the camera, fingerprint sensor and other issues. It is not confirmed when other areas will receive the update. The smartphone had received the April 2021 android security patch with an earlier update. Realme 8 Pro was launched in India on March 24 along with Realme 8. It is powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC and features a 6.4-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
According to a report by RM Update, Realme 8 Pro will get another update in India that will bring further improvements to the camera as it has optimized the smooth effect of rear camera video recordings. In addition, Realme unlocking the fixed fingerprint lock is slow when the screen is off, fixed network problems and also improved the low battery status with the smartphone delay.
The update has firmware version RMX3081_11_A.28 and is 276 MB in size according to the thr report. We’ve contacted Realme to comment on the implementation and will update this status when we hear back. It is recommended that you update your smartphone while it is charging and connected to a Wi-Fi network. To check for an update manually, go to Settings> Software update> Download and install. Earlier this month, Realme 8 Pro sai update (RMX3081_11.A.27) in India, which brought improvements to the camera, VoWiFi support for Vi (Vodafone Idea), and an April 2021 Android security patch.
Realme 8 Pro was was launched late last month and passing Android 11-based on Realme UI 2.0. It features a 6.4-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a 60 Hz refresh rate and punch-cut for a selfie camera. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC, which is connected to the Adreno 618 graphics card. It has up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For optics, it has a four-size rear camera with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel black-and-white camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For self-portraits, it has a 16-megapixel sensor. It includes a 4500 mAh battery with 50W SuperDart Charge.
