After PUBG Mobile returned to India this year under the name Battlegrounds Mobile India, reports show that ByteDance is a popular short video application TikTok, may soon return to the country and be renamedTickTock“.
This information was disclosed in a trademark application filed by ByteDance with the Attorney General for Patents, Designs and Trademarks. This trademark was filed on July 6, and tipster Mukul Sharma first noticed it on Twitter.

We have also contacted ByteDance to confirm the same. We are waiting for your reply.
Last month’s report Print claimed that ByteDance has “wanted to continue operating” in the country. The company was reportedly in talks to lift the TikTok ban and also said it had assured officials that it would comply with the 2021 data protection rules.
In 2019, ByteDance had appointed a chief executive and a flawed official in India, a critical requirement for all Indian brokerage platforms under the new IT rules.
A lot lately applications that were banned in 2020 as “undermining the sovereignty, integrity and security of the country”, we are now trying to circumvent the ban and return to the Indian market. Krafton was launched PUBG Mobile In India Battlegrounds Mobile India only last month when the app was changed and dedicated to players in India.
Shopping app Shein, which was also part of India’s 59 Chinese apps blocked in June 2020, is trying to return through Amazon India.
Launched during the Prime Day sale, which is July 26-27.
