Several revised profile pages in Gettr, a new social media platform for Jason Miller, an adviser to former President Trump, were apparently hacked and destroyed for a moment on Sunday (via Inside).
The accounts of several well-known Republicans, including Miller, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeon and Florida Representative Marjorie Taylor Green, replaced the headlines on their pages with the same message: “@JubaBaghdad was here 🙂 ^^ free Palestine ^^.” Twitter user @JubaBaghdad said Inside hacking the pages was easy and that he had done it “just for fun”. Most of the vulnerable profiles appeared to be normal at the time of release.

Gettrin was scheduled to officially launch today, July 4th. It was softly launched in June, Politico reportedand plans to host three-minute videos, 777-character messages, and streaming videos. Its app is available in Google and Apple app stores as “Marketplace of Ideas.” The “About” section of the app describes it as a “brand new social media platform based on the principles of freedom of speech, independent thinking and political censorship, and the withdrawal of culture.” “It is intended for users 17 years of age and older.
When Trump was banned Facebook and Twitter After the Capitol building uprising in January, he said he planned to launch his own social forum. A blog called Donald J. Trump’s Desktop opened in May on his website, but it was was closed and archived in June. Miller said at the time that the website was not intended to be Trump’s social media platform.
The email to Gettr was not returned immediately on Sunday.
