Uber is expanding its grocery delivery to 400 cities, including NYC and San Francisco

Uber has more than doubled the number of cities where it supplies groceries the first major expansion since the launch of the new service last year. The company’s grocery delivery on order and on schedule is now available in 400 cities, including major markets such as New York City, San Francisco and Washington, DC.

Uber’s grocery store service was downloaded in partnership with Albertsons Company, a listed owner of major grocery brands such as Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s, Acme, Tom Thumb, Randalls, United Supermarkets, Pavilions, Star Market, Haggen, Carrs, Kings Food Markets and Balduccin Food Lover’s Market.
