Ubisoft’s details release schedule leads to 2023


Many of the upcoming Ubisoft titles received new release windows recently result report. According to the report, games like Far Cry 6, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine, Tom Clancy’s Division: Heartland, Rollersand Republic of Riders everything is scheduled to launch before March 31, 2022, while Skull and bones is now scheduled to be published between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2023.

In particular, many of these titles have been is delayed at least once, with some – like Skull and bones – suffering from a turbulent and long period of development. Originally scheduled to start in 2018, it was postponed to 2019 and delayed again until 2021. Ubisoft expects it to be ready by the end of March 2023.

Originally, Far Cry 6 and Republic of Riders wIt should start launching in the first half of 2021, while Rainbow Six quarantine (which is known to have been renamed Rainbow Six Parasite) was scheduled to launch in 2020. None of these games have exact dates, but they are now scheduled to appear next year.

Ubisoft also mentioned the coming character, Good and evil 2, and the anonymous Star Wars game, but did not publish the release windows for these titles – only referring to them as portfolio expansions.

The company announced its efforts to divest several AAA game releases each year and shift some of its focus to free-to-play experiences.

“We’ve been saying for several years that our normal model includes either three or four AAA games, so we’re sticking to the plan for 2022,” Ubisoft’s CFO Frederick Duguet said. “But we see that we are gradually moving from a model that previously focused only on AAA releases, to a model where we have a combination of strong AAA releases and strong backlist dynamics, but also by complementing the new releases program with free and other premium experiences.”

The company also announced that Assassin’s Creed segment revenue will grow 50% year-over-year, while unique PC and console players have reached 141 million, up 20% from a year ago. Finally, Division The franchise has up to 40 million players on all consoles.
