Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold India, a global launch as an inverted foldable phone found in the IMEI database


The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold may soon be launched outside China, as the smartphone is claimed to have been detected in global and Indian IMEI databases. The Mi Mix Fold is Xiaom’s first foldable smartphone and competes with people like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Huawei Mate X2. A foldable phone with a U-shaped hinge structure can currently be purchased in China.

Like tipster Mukul Sharman’s Tweet, Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold has been observed in the global IMEI database under model number M2011J18G, where G is claimed to represent ‘global’. This means that the phone is likely to launch outside of China, tipster claims it is also listed in India’s IMEI database – but there is no guarantee that it will actually arrive in the country.

Xiaomi has not needed any information in this regard, in fact, the Chinese technology giant is preparing to launch Mi 11X and Mi 11 series, which consists of Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra smartphones in the country on April 23rd. Xiaomi is already was launched We Mix Fold in China. The Mi 11X series is said to be Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro smartphones that are believed brand Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro +respectively.

The Mi Mix Fold is Xiaom’s first phone to have its own Surge C1 image signal processor (ISP) and liquid lens technology. The phone has a U-shaped hinge structure that is said to have undergone 200,000 bends in reliability testing and up to one million bends in extreme reliability testing. It features an 8.01-inch WQHD + flexible OLED display with 900 nits of peak brightness and a 4: 3 aspect ratio. The cover screen is 6.5 inches in size, and the AMOLED panel has an resolution of 840×2 by 520 pixels, a 27: 9 aspect ratio, and a peak brightness of 700 nits.

Under the hood, the Mi Mix Fold features an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone also has a triple rear camera configuration that includes a 108-megapixel primary Samsung HM2 sensor. It is complemented by an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with Liquid Lens technology and a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens f / 2.4. There is a 20 megapixel selfie camera in the front.

With Mi Mix Fold, Xiaomi has supplied a dual-cell 5020 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The Mi Mix Fold also includes Harman Kardon-tuned quad speakers. Mi Mix Fold works on Android 10 with MIUI 12. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side.
