Critically acclaimed and Oscar-winning director Jordan Peelen’s next “Terror” is officially called No, by poster the manager shared on Thursday. The details of the project are (gladly) shrouded in mystery, and you still have a little to expect before you see it for yourself – No is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 22, 2022.
There are tons to go in announcer Peele has tweeted, but it has an ominous dark cloud that looks like a string of kites running down its back. Peele teases / his last film Us was just as memorable and boring, so while you’re probably supposed to get across a mysterious cloud moving over a mountain town, it’s also nice let the mystery be.
The new poster also confirms that the Actors No is as stacked as the film is mysterious. Both Steven Yeun and Daniel Kaluuya were rumored to be negotiating to join the film in April 2021, but now their involvement has been confirmed. Keke Palmer was selected for the film in February as the female protagonist. What exactly these three actors have to do with the physical (and probably metaphorical) cloud is still to be seen, but you get the meteorological speculative engines running when we start waiting for the trailer.
