“I was talking [Matthias Schoenaerts] a lot of it, ”Snyder revealed. “He never got into a suit, but I made a bunch of his models because Ben was on the fence. And I don’t blame him. Everyone should be on the fence when asked, ‘Do you want to play Batman?’
Belgian actor Schoenaerts was last seen on Netflix Old guard, while his most recent include, among others Laundry, Mustang, Red sparrow and Danish girl. However, during the time of Affleck’s Batman actors, he was best known for his roles in the Oscar nomination in the Belgian crime drama Mule and the 2012 romantic drama Rust and bone Alongside Marion Cotillard.
